Student Travel Grants

Travel support of up to $1,500 per student is available to a limited number of students attending WiSec 2022. These awards are generously provided by NSF and ACM SIGSAC. This support is meant to cover a portion of the costs of airfare, lodging, and conference registration for students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Awardees will be selected based on merit and financial need. Award amounts may vary based on need and to increase the number of students in attendance.

Qualifications

Students attending must be 18 years of age or older at the time of travel. Applicants cannot be a postdoc, faculty, or senior researcher (i.e., only graduate or undergraduate students). Students from US and non-US institutions are eligible to apply. Awards are not limited to WiSec’22 authors. First-time conference attendees, undergraduates, and students from under-represented groups (e.g., women and minorities) are especially encouraged to apply.
